On October 16, 2025, for the ceremonial first visit to the miraculous Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God «of the Sign» at the Lucerne Orthodox Parish, our congregation made handmade replicas of the icons to the glory of God. 🙏 Those who came to pray and venerate the Mother of God had the opportunity to place the icon before the shrine and take with them the quiet joy and memory of this wonderful day 🙏
A hand-painted icon of the Archangel Gabriel, consecrated on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Lucerne church, was donated by our Verein to the special boarding school for children with special needs in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, Arlesheim, on September 23, 2025. We hope that the image of the Archangel Gabriel will bring good news and quiet joy to these walls.
The painted icon of Archangel Gabriel was presented on August 3, 2025, by our verein to Schema-Archimandrite Father Gabriel at the Cross-Exaltation Skete near Lugano 🙏
On the day of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 07.04.2025, three icons with the image of the Holy Archangel Gabriel were solemnly consecrated and presented to three choir singers of the Orthodox churches of Bern and Lucerne.
